On October 11th’s broadcast of KBS 2TV’s Happy Birthday, SHINee’s maknae Taemin revealed his ideal type.

Taemin revealed, “My ideal type girl would be someone who only looks at me, like a sunflower.”

Amongst the female cast consisting of Lee Hae Jung, Jung Shi Ah, Ahn Jin Kyung and Secret’s Zinger that were present, Taemin chose Jung Shi Ah as being the closest to his ideal type.

Regarding the reason why he chose her, Taemin explained, “When I see her, she always talks about her husband. Her act of doing so makes her look like a sunflower.”

Jung Shi Ah, flattered from his response, shouted out, “I shouldn’t have gotten married.”

Meanwhile, ZE:A’s Kwang Hee also chose Jung Shi Ah as his ideal type, while SHINee’s Key chose Lee Hae Jung from the female cast.

SHINee is the second boy group introduced by SM Entertainment following Super Junior’s success, with Leader Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Taemin and Minho. Recently they came back with their new album ‘Lucifer’ and had achieved excellent results in Korea. Currently, they have set breaking into the Chinese market as their number 1 goal. In our short interview with them, they revealed that they once went to Beijing to study the Chinese language, and even had lessons on Wushu as well.

As entertainment agencies in Korea generally has strict management, hence other than spending all their time on practice and rest, all five members exclaimed that they have no dating experience at all. “We really haven’t dated anyone before. When we were trainees, we couldn’t date. After we debuted we were really busy all the more we can’t.” With busy personal schedules, they do not have much time for themselves. So whenever SHINee have time to rest, they will be hanging around and cracking jokes together. During the interview, the most common word we heard was ‘Rabbit’. Why Rabbit? In order to highlight each member’s outstanding and unique character, SM Entertainment has specially chosen 5 animals to portray their individual image. Leader Onew a rabbit, Jonghyun a dog, Key a fox, Minho a cow and Taemin portrays a cat. And because ‘Rabbit’ Onew has a good temper, hence he is always ‘bullied’ by the rest.

It’s been two weeks since SHINee released their new album and wowed fans with their title song, Lucifer. And as with tradition with most of SM artists these days, SM Entertainment has now released a video of SHINee dancing to their song.

This is not the usual MV style dance video, probably because Minho is still injured and couldn’t film the dance version. So instead, SM Entertainment has released a video of the 5 SHINee members, dressed down and rehearsing, and filmed before Minho got injured.

Enjoy the full dance cheoreography in its full glory because this is just the second time that we are seeing all SHINee members dancing to Lucifer, apart from the actual MV and a bit different.

Just recently a rumour about their second album's tracklist surfaced online and netizens have been buzzing about SHINee's leader, Onew will be having a duet song with bandmate, Key. The duet song is said to be entitled as '너를 지우다 (Hate You)' which was rumoured to be included in their upcoming second full-length album. There is a possibility for this to be true since they have been doing duet and solo songs in their previous releases. However rumour is just a rumour, we still have to wait until SM Entertainment to release a full-statement regarding their second album.

SHINee is set to make their first comeback stage next week through Music Core. Their music video teaser is set to be released this 6th July while their album title-track is going to be released online on 8th July. The full music video will be released on the day after (9th July) and the full album is set to be released online and offline on 12th July.

SM Entertainment just confirmed that the teaser for SHINee's comeback will be released on 6 July. The song will then be released on 8July, and the MV on 9July.

What do the world’s number one figure skater, the Michael Jackson of kpop, and Jay Park have in common? Well, from the looks of it, they all deserve Korea’s best security guards!
A fan who watched Jay arrive in South Korea observantly realized that the security team given to Jay at the airport was actually the most expensive team in the country.

This team, which normally is assigned to Yuna Kim (who’s treated like a queen in her country) and Seo Taeji (who is often called the cultural president of Korea), was given to Jay to protect him from deliriously joyful fans as they watched him finally return to the birthplace of his fame.

It’s also interesting to note that in the photo, the man in the yellow necktie behind Jay Park is actually an extremely famous security guard in South Korea. Seo Taeji, being especially fond of this man, has been known to refer to this guard as his ‘baby.’

Well, we’ve just discovered that Key was involved in a vandalism incident.

As seen in the photos, this mischievous member was so excited that he decided to sign the table instead of the frame border for his hand print wall art.
